Discounts on Tickets:

1. Admission is free to the museums for:
a) children up to the age of 6;
b) people with disabilities and their accompanying persons (up to one person per beneficiary);
c) persons with a professional ticket issued by the minister;
d) persons with valid documents based on international treaties.

2. Entry is free for citizens of the European Economic Area:
a) if they are over the age of 70;
b) if they are teachers working in public education or higher education;
c) or if they are employed in a professional capacity in public collections or public cultural institutions registered, licensed or accredited in accordance with the legislation of the country concerned.

3. Admission is also free:
a) for persons under the age of 26; as well as for to up to two close relatives accompanying persons under the age of 18 on the first Saturday of each month [Article 685(b) of the Civil Code],
b) for all visitors on national holidays of the Republic of Hungary (15th March, 20th August, 23rd October).

4. Citizens of the European Economic Area shall receive a 50% discount (except for cases listed in points 1 to 3):
a) between the age of 6 and 26;
b) between the age of 62 and 70.

5. Discounts granted by museums:
• Admission is free to all museum exhibitions with ‘with a Landscapes, Ages, Museums’ membership card
• Museum exhibitions are free on the Day of Hungarian Culture (22nd January), International Museum Day (18th May) and on Cultural Heritage Day (mid-September)
• Admission is free to all museum exhibitions with a ‘HungaryCard’ (Hungarian Tourism Card) issued by Hotelinfo Kft. under the conditions set out in the members’ entry form
• Admission is free to all museums for organised groups of primary and secondary school pupils of educational institutions of Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county
• Admission is free to the exhibitions with a permanent pass issued by the Damjanich János Museum for the official Friends of the Museum.
